Syntax:

ALIGNMENT CHECK TO CHECK CHARACTERS

ALIGNMENT CHECK TO CHECK CHARACTER VARIABLES

ALIGNMENT CHECK TO IGNORE CHARACTERS

ALIGNMENT CHECK TO IGNORE CHARACTER VARIABLES


Function:

This command instructs FPT to check or to ignore the alignment of character variables and array elements when checking alignment. Please see the CHECK ALIGNMENT command for a description of the check.

Alignment of character variables is checked by default.
